Fair questions, honest answers

If you've been burnt by fitness before, you're allowed to be suspicious. Here's what people ask most about The Snack Pass.

01What if I don't stick to it?

Honestly? You won't, not perfectly. Nobody does. Classes at The Snack Pass are 15 to 20 minutes so they're easier to fit in, and there are replays for when life gets in the way. Disappear for a month and come back; nobody will make it weird. Here, sticking to it means coming back, not never missing.

02What is an exercise snack?

AMY TO ADD

An exercise snack is a short burst of movement you fit into your day, in place of one long workout. At The Snack Pass that means classes of 15 to 20 minutes, live on Zoom or on demand.

03How much does The Snack Pass cost?

AMY TO ADD

The Snack Pass costs £13.99, £19.99 or £29.99 a month. It's a sliding scale, so you choose the price and every tier gets exactly the same access. There is no joining fee and no minimum term.

04I'm really unfit. Will I keep up with the classes?

AMY TO ADD

Yes, because there's nothing to keep up with. Classes are short, and you can go gentler, take a breather or stop whenever you like.

Starting from scratch is exactly who The Snack Pass is for.

05Is The Snack Pass about losing weight?

No. The Snack Pass doesn't do weight loss, toning, fat burning or "summer bodies". Nobody will weigh you, measure you or ask. The point is moving because it's good for you, not to change how you look.

06I don't look like a fitness person. Will I stick out?

AMY TO ADD

No. There's no such thing as a fitness body. If you've got a body and it moves, even a bit, it counts. Everyone's welcome at The Snack Pass, whatever your shape, size, age or ability. And you can keep your camera off if you'd rather not be seen.

AMY TO ADDConfirm cameras can stay off in live classes

07Exercise has always been grim for me. Why would this be any different?

AMY TO ADD

Because the things that made it grim aren't here. No shouting, no before and afters, no comments about anyone's body. You move in a way that feels alright, in your own home, and nobody's watching unless you want them to.

08I've always used exercise to make up for what I eat. Is this for me?

AMY TO ADD

Yes, very much. Exercise at The Snack Pass isn't a payment plan for food. You don't earn dinner and you don't burn off cake. If that's a hard habit to shake, the Unf*ck It coaching course is included to help.

AMY TO ADDConfirm the course covers this

09I don't have time to exercise. How long are the classes?

Classes are 15 to 20 minutes. Go live if a fixed time helps, or use the on-demand library if your week is chaos. No commute, no changing rooms, no hunting for a parking space.

10What equipment do I need?

AMY TO ADD

Very little. Some classes use no kit at all. Others use one or two sets of dumbbells, and water bottles or tin cans will do if you don't have any. Stretch classes need a chair and a tea towel. One class, TAPAS, uses an aerobic step.

11Can I join from outside the UK?

AMY TO ADD

Yes. The Snack Pass is online and has members around the world. Live classes run on Zoom and there's a time zone conversion chart for the timetable. If the live times don't suit, every class is available as a replay.
